Just wanted to let you know that Snuffy, who I renamed Charlie is doing great. He loves his new friend Coco, my 4 yr old Papillion (see attached photo) and my four cats. Charlie and Coco play tug-a-war with the toys and take turns chasing each other around the backyard. He's also made friends with other dogs we meet on our daily walks. He's on antibiotics and ear drops and is recovering from the kennel cough. He's quite the little love. Thank you rescuing him and the best of luck with your mission of saving great dogs... I just want to let everyone know how happy I am with my new family. I've fully recovered from my ear infection and am feeling great. I have attach a photo of me with my new haircut and with my best friend Coco, she's the little black blob on the pillow behind me. She and I love to play tug-a-war with toys and to chase each other around the house and backyard. I also live with 4 cats who just love for me to chase them! Mom takes me and Coco for long walks everyday. I've made friends with many other dogs in my
neighborhood, including Bichons, Golden Retrievers, Schnoodles, and the best type, Mutts. After a long day of playing and following my mom everywhere, Ilove to snuggle next to my mom in bed and don't mind sharing the space with Coco and the cats.

Dasher is doing great with us now. I can't imagine having a better dog! Your description of her was so accurate -- she certainly is a "lively and chipper sort" that does not act nine years old. She acts like a puppy with intermittent spurts of maturity. I've taken her on a few short hikes, and she's able to walk a four mile steep trail on her own with energy to spare. Not bad for a dog of her age and size.

She's adjusted well to our routine. I mentioned to you earlier that she had some separation anxiety when we were away at work. That's not a problem anymore. She stays quiet and relaxed when we're gone, and even enjoys getting to do the things that she can't do when we're home, like sleeping on the couch.

She's intelligent and is very receptive to training. She learns new commands, including hand signals, in about 15 minutes. At times it seems like she can read our mind and does what we want her to do before we even ask.

I've attached a few pictures of her enjoying her new life with us (although she doesn't look like she's enjoying wearing the Santa hat that much!). Thank you again for a wonderful dog and great adoption experience. Keep up
